Description:
The ultimatum from Germany aksed Belgium for a safe passage through their territory. If they did not accept the ultimatum, they would be considered an enemy towards Germany. Belgium had been promised by Britain that they guarantee their neutrality so if Germany was rejected and their soldiers crossed the border, Britain would have to step in. After Belgium was given the ultimatum, they rejected it and Britain would have to make a decision whether to stay or step in.
