Description:
It was a massive protest in Washington D.C. in front of the Lincoln Memorial and in which Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I have a dream" speech. It was attended by over 250,000 people including many high ranking members of the NAACP. The event was held in Washington D.C. It was caused by the continued discrimination against African Americans. It resulted in the strenghtening of the Civil RIghts Movement.
