The relationship between The Film Foundation and the Cineteca started in 2007 [TFF Year report, 2007, p.20] when the Cineteca was enrolled as one of the venues around the world to screen the films restored with funding from The Film Foundation. Then it was admitted as an affiliated organization (member archive) to the Foundation in 2008.
