jul 11, 1990 - The Oka Crisis
Description:
The Oka Crisis was a 78-day land dispute between the Mohawk Tribe and a Quebecois golf company. The company wanted further expansion of their course even though they had already taken land before. The entire event proves that the Canadian government didn't see a problem with the further stealing of the Mohawk's rightfully owned land, thus further debunking the myth.
