nov 22, 1963 - JFK Assassination

Description:

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as he was part of a motorcade that rode through downtown Dallas. The president was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, who was believed to have killed Kennedy because he hated what he stood for. Oswald was the cause of the assassination, but it led to Lyndon B. Johnson taking office, as he was the Vice President. Johnson was able to get more legislation passed than Kennedy, especially in regards to civil rights.
