14 Nov - Workers to be insured against illness or accident
1 Dec - All non-Bolshevik newspapers banned
11 Dec - Cadets banned and leaders arrested
20 Dec - Cheka (secret police) set up
27 Dec - Factories put under control of workers committees (gave workers better rights)
Banks under Bolshevik control
31 Dec - Marriages could take place without priest
- Divorce easier
