Description:
This is the first railway or use of locomotives in the United States. This was a railway that went from the Chesapeake Bay all the way throughout the Ohio Valley. This is important because it marks the start of the use of locomotives. Locomotives which would heavily aid the economy and the transportation of products through the rapidly growing country.
