Description:

This was an economic policy implemented by Napoleon in 1807 to blockade British trade. This included neutral shipping using British parts, which then endangered the US and our trade. This related to exchange as it was a moment in history that could have permanently affected our trade with the world if it wasn't dealt with fast enough. This also lead to the war of 1812, which was a big part of US history.
