jan 1, 1920 - Hay Diet
Description:
The Hay Diet was introduced in the 1920s by the New York physician, William Howard Hay. The Hay Diet is based on the premise that combing foods is a cause in health problems, and divides foods into three groups: Alkali forming foods, Proteins (Acidic) and Carbohydrates (Neutral). This diet permits that acidic foods are not combined with the alkaline foods, and proteins and carbohydrates were not allowed to be eaten during the same meal to reduce health problems.
