Description:
This was when the British ship Leopard opened fire at the USS Chesapeake off the coast of Virginia. This resulted in the death of 4 and wounding of 17.
This was important as it led to an increase in dislike for the British among the American public. This was important from an America in the World standpoint as it caused the US to pursue multiple anti-British policies in the years to come.
