jan 1, 1943 - The Swing Youth

Description:

The Swing Youth was a group of teenagers and young adults who disliked the restrictions of Nazi Germany and wanted to have more fun and freedom. They would listen to banned jazz music and more western style dance songs. They would also allow Jews into their groups who were heavily persecuted in the holocaust.
Throughout the war period, the Nazis started to become much harsher on these groups by arresting them and keeping them under heavy surveillance. By 1943, many leaders and members had been sent Youth Concentration Camps.
