This milestone occurred at around 18 months and it was the first time I spoke a word of English. This relates to Piaget's theory on cognitive development and that children develop through stages and at certain times during the life span. This was a milestone that is very important because It really shows Piaget's theory and really reflects on it. Piaget stated that at 18 months children start to develop some language and that happened to me.
