St John’s is a church that has hung on through the years. A mission for over a hundred, oftentimes sharing their clergy with the prison or with St. Peter’s in Rockland. In 1970 she was recommended to close, yet she has hung on to become a beacon of faith on U.S. Route 1. By design and by grace she is a glorious singing congregation dedicated to serving Christ both in Maine and beyond.Added to timeline:
