1. The Right Reverend Robert Codman, Bishop of Maine, consecrated the Church of All Saints by-the-Sea in July of 1906. With a dual mission of worship and outreach to the community, All Saints by-the-Sea welcomes visitors of all faiths to its summer services.
2. One of the church’s most important and unique assets is its dock. Each Sunday visitors come to church by boat from the surrounding islands and communities.
3. All Saints by-the-Sea is excited about:
• our relationship with St. Columba’s, the year-round church in Boothbay Harbor;
• our commitment to outreach and exploring new ways to support our community;
• our Tuesday “Porch Discussions” held on the porch discussing upcoming scripture;
• the gift of a rare King James Version of the Holy Bible printed in 1613;
• the newest member of the All Saints family, a baby, baptized on Sunday, July 14, 2019 before a congregation of 85.
