jun 20, 2004 - In kindergarten, my teacher taught us how to describe objects using words, pictures and gestures.---Cognitive Development
Description:
One day, my kindergarten teacher gave us an assignment about a descriptive article talking about my favorite thing and it could be everything that I like. I chose to give a description of basketball. I could imagine what a basketball looks like. Basically it is a round and relatively big ball object with leather and six stripes. It is very elastic and flexible. Then I submitted my assignment and I got praised by my teacher.
According to Piaget's Early Childhood Cognitive Development Theory, Children at 2 to 7 years old begin to think symbolically and learn to use words and pictures to represent objects.
