Sculpted by Hieronymus Duquesnoy the Elder in 1619, Mannekin Pis depects a little boy urinating into a fountain's basin. The statue is to be thought of as the emblem of the rebellious spirit of Brussels, making it one of the most popular attractions in the city. The figure has just over one thousand different costumes that it is put into multiple times a week.
