Description:

In an incident staged by the Japanese military, a small amount of dynamite is detonated near a Japanese railway near Mukden. The explosion was so small it barely even damaged the track and a train passed over it not long after. The Japanese blamed China for the explosion and launched a full scale invasion into northeastern China, known as Manchuria
