sep 1, 1791 - The ending of the Moderate Revolution

Description:

The Moderate Revolution ended with the National Assembly writing France's first constitution making France a Constitutional Monarchy. The National Assembly is dissolved and becomes the Legislative Assembly, which is made up of radicals, moderates, and nobles. Although they have a constitution, the people are still divided with their opinions about the future. Moderate revolutionaries are happy with a Constitutional Monarchy, radicals want a republic, and nobles feel the revolution has gone too far. These split opinions will lead to the conflict that is to come.
