From one of their best shows of 1992. The band took a lot of musical risks at their live shows in the 80s, but in 1990-91, they toured relentlessly mainly to get their music out there, rarely straying from the song structures. But in 1992, the risk taking returned. This Tweezer is a perfect version that doesn't stray too far from the song's regular jams, but the band explores some groundbreaking territory by juxtaposing metal-like rock with comically serene bliss. Trey's guitar work in particular is just jaw dropping (see 6:10 and 11:26); this was also played not long after they recorded the Rift album. This rekindling of risk taking would continue throughout the rest of the 90s, and their whole career.
