Description:

Multiple battles ensued after the Sand Creek Massacre, only ending with the Treaty of Fort Laramie (also known as the Sioux Treaty of 1868) which gave large grants of land to the Natives. It was signed by both Sioux and Arapaho Natives, as well as numerous generals and witnesses. However, peace would be very temporary.
