My bones have failed
My life has vanished from within me
All I feel is grief and emptiness
The utter deluge of emptiness and abandonment
The life has been drawn from every ounce of me...
Lord what could you say that would give me life?
What could you say that would give me hope?
What could you say that would bring life to my bones?
"Read John 5"
No my Lord - we have read it several times.
"Read it again with me, I want to show you something"
In my tears again I refuse... "Read it with me..."
Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk."
"This is what I am telling him."
Really Lord? You are telling him to get up and take me with him?
"This is what I have been telling him all along..."
"The evil one has convinced him that there are other ways to keep you with him... that my will was not what it appeared to be"
I have not considered what it would be like to face the realty of hurting and rejecting the very person God has been asking you to take with you...
That must be very painful.
I am sorry Lord.
Give me a merciful heart towards him.
