mar 24, 1765 - Quartering Act of 1765

Description:

This act, along with the Quartering Act mentioned in the Coercive or "Intolerable" Acts, was considered an absolute outrage. It was one thing for Britain to take their money and regulate their assets, but the concept of being forced to invite and pay for soldiers from across the sea to stay in their towns was absolutely ludicrous. As the bills gradually worsened, the colonists became fiercer and grew into a force to be reckoned with.
