After Xavier--the Gangrel Justicar--barely survives an altercation in the US with what he believes is an Antediluvian, the Camarilla claims it must have been some Sabbat trick or creation instead... continuing to deny the existence of such things.

The Sabbat openly claim Gehenna is upon us and push harder for their War for Conquest in North America believing the Camarilla to be not just adversarial, but actively a threat to vampire survival.

Roughly half the Gangrel in the Camarilla leave with Xavier in disgust.
