jul 18, 1998 - Sega Dreamcast

Description:

The Sega Dreamcast was Sega's next console in line after the Saturn. However, it appears that whether the Dreamcast was a 64-bit system or a 128-bit system has become quite a bit discussion, but most answers say that it is in fact 128-bit, which is a large step up from its predecessor the Saturn. Furthermore, the Dreamcast had high graphical capabilities, this is shown in it's best selling game Sonic Adventure, which mixed the classic sonic style for it's characters with a realistic look of the world itself (Like realistic looking buildings or roads for examples) and for it's NPC's. The textures that were made to look realistic did indeed look realistic, showing that the ability to create better looking textures was improving greatly.
