Description:
The Sega Master System was Sega's answer to the NES. The Sega had similar capabilities to the NES, it could run games in colour and had similar looking graphics. The Master System was similar to the NES with it being higher quality compared to past consoles like the Commodore 64 and Sinclair Spectrum. Iconic games would include the first Sonic the Hedgehog game, which became a rival to the Mario series. This game introduced fast paced gameplay and quirks to levels.
