The proposal, which is hoped to commence in
2024, would see club coefficients from the last
ten years deciding who goes through to
Europe's premier club competition, while
reducing the number of automatic Group
Stage participants from 26 to 20 teams and
increasing the number of qualifiers from six to
12.
