Hitler joins the German workers party on the orders of his army superiors, Hitler applied to join the party, Hitler wanting to form his own class. He claimed to have been convinced to join the DAP because it was tiny and he could eventually become its leader. It took Hitler a while to decide if he was going to join the party. The people who formed the German Workers Party were Anton Drexler, Dietrich Eckert, Gottfried Feder and Kari Harrer. The DAP (Former Name) changed its name to National Socialist German Workers Party because they wanted it to get more popular. The reason this helped Hitler rise to power it made a name for him and it said that he wasn’t messing around. They knew he was loyal and a big role to make the party bigger with his out spoken decisions, comments and opinions.
