L. 95-561-The education amendments to the Gifted and Talented Children's Education Act of 1978 provided funding to states for planning as well as grants for personnel training, model programs, and research through the Gifted and Talented Children's Education Act. Migrant programs funded through section 143 of Pub. L. 95-561. It also included a provision for identifying native American gifted and talented students.
