Description:
The steam engine if the late 1700s was an improvement on Newcomen's engine that was made in 1707 to pump water. Invented by Richard Trevithick, the lightweight, high-pressure steam engine was the beginnign fo a huge advancement in technology as now the steam engines became small enough to be used in smaller businesses and for use in steam locomotives.
