In Chechnya , a new uprising broke out. As emphasized in the report of the commander of the North Caucasus Military District, I.P. Belov, and the member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the district, S.N. Kozhevnikov, addressed to the North Caucasian Krakim VKP (b): "In Chechnya, as in Karachai, we have not isolated gangster counter-revolutionary actions, and a direct uprising of entire regions (Galanchozh), in which almost the entire population takes part in an armed uprising "(RGVA.
