In the area of Kulamys, units of the 8kd defeated the Kazakh detachment of Khan Aijarkyn and Sardarbek M. Samatov. The losses of the Sarbazovs were 36 people killed, including the leader of the uprising, Khan Aizharkyn, and 38 people, including M. Samatov, were forced to surrender.
According to other sources, the battle took place on March 21, 1930 in the area of ​​the Kul-Kamysh tract - 40 people were killed, and 33 people were captured.
