Description:

Democratic candidate Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) won the presidential election over Republican candidate Barry Goldwater. LBJ supported very liberal policies such as keeping the soldiers out of Vietnam. Goldwater had a very conservative agenda, which was opposed to social security, Civil Rights, and backing out of Vietnam.
