dec 24, 1814 - The war that nobody won.

Description:

Both Britain and the United States were tired of the war. There was no clear winner. Both sides prepared to end the fight and sign a peace treaty on Christmas Eve 1814. It was considered the Treaty of Ghent. Once the treaty was signed the Americans sent a messenger to North America which didn't arrive on time. So the Armies in North America kept fighting and fighting until eventually, the Messenger arrived in March 1815.
