Description:
The British navy carried the war right to the capital of the United States. Major Robert Ross landed an army that marched toward Washington DC. They thought it was time to get revenge for the burning of York. Government buildings were burnt down to the ground including the Presidents Mansion. The Mansion was rebuilt a few months after, But they had to repaint it white to cover the burn marks. Shortly after they referred to it as the White House.
