Description:
When the corruption spread throughout Ár, something strange occurred within Vraganvakk Walcet. The spirits which dwelt around the Emerald Peaks (Which held within enormous Arcane Crystals) acted of their own volition as the corruption began to touch the forest, merging with the trees themselves and the beasts of the forested land to give birth to beings whose souls were nearly as great as that of the gods, for they were made of many lesser souls merged together (Not just two souls merged together, but sometimes ten or twenty at once).
Two races were born, both attuned innately to the woods. Both bore certain human traits, for many of the souls that were merged to make them had been human once, but one resembled the furred and cloven creatures of the forest whilst the other was so alike to the trees that its members would immediately change their own appearance upon their awakening as they saw themselves in the forest ponds or in each other's eyes, adopting more humane forms.
These races, both proficient in the arcane arts in great measure, would come to be known as the Cloven and the Naturehearts respectively.
