jan 1, 606 - The Xin-De Arrive at Suur Hárindir
Description:
The Ancestors of the Kunen Ludka would thrive under Alyka's guidance, in the lands beyond the mountain range created by Bashaira’s upheaval, creating the appropriately named Kingdom of 'Rime' (Rae), of which 'Canticle' (Xen) would emerge around the year 600, nearing the warmer lands of the Arsala Dul. A war would be waged between Canticle and Rime upon the creation of the former, leading to a large group of northmen choosing to flee southwards, seeking warmer, lusher lands. They would follow Tárdoch the Rover (Who went by the name of Diel as of then, and would post humorously be given the name by which he is known today after his death came to pass given to him by the Rówenvlader) in crossing the deserts of the middlelands, and those who rose to leadership of the great caravan after its first master perished during the journey.
They would arrive at Suur Hárindir many cycles later, to make their dwelling among the pastures and woods of the Meadows of Tárdoch, named in honor of their late leader, where they would tame the wild horses that dwelt there, which the Vourenkinn could not as they were too short to mount them. As the Mountain Children had very few strongholds in the Plainsland beneath the Starry Mountains, the Xin-De swept over the grasslands with their new equine companions, raising their cities all the way to the Sundrop shores, building each in stone as the Goddess Alyka had taught them many centuries ago.
As they mingled with the Vourenkinn, their language began to change to what the Easterncome would hear the Kunen Ludka speak many centuries later.
Near the 10th century of the Sunborn Calendar, they suffered the most during the Flight of the Scaled Ones (attack of the Dragons on the Plainsland and Valendir, during which the Meadows were burned and became the Great Grass, a vast plain of coarse pasture and little game nearly devoid of rivers, most of which had dried up as the trees that sheltered them from the sun were razed) and became the Kunen Ludka - Equine from the waist down - as the Corruption swept over Ár and warped their bodies.
