Description:
This was an act where the British troops were allowed to come into your house and have whatever they want. The Colonist felt the Quartering Act of 1765 violated the 1689 English Bill of Rights. In 1766, 1500 British soldiers sailed in New York Harbor, causing the American Revolution.
