Description:
Canadian women, 21 and over, become eligible to vote in federal elections in Canada. It started with Manitoba and Nellie McClung who fought for equality. However, to be able to vote, these women must be born in that Canada and had to meet with the requirements needed for their province. This is important for the women because this was another step in equality for all sexes.
