Torrance & his colleagues invented the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) based on Guilford work but sough both verbal & figural activities and group the different subtest of the TTCT into 3 categories: (1) Verbal tasks using verbal stimuli, (2) verbal tasks using non-verbal stimuli, and (3) non-verbal tasks.Added to timeline:
