Description:

The Great Migration indicates a significant continuity since black slaves moved North from the South to not only find better jobs but also to be not prejudiced and discriminated on the basis of their skin color which was one of the same reasons for most blacks to move over the past 100 years.. During ww2, many factories needed workers to continue their manufacturing since most workers left to go fight in the war. This influenced Blacks to move up north and also to escape Southern segregation.
