Description:
The death of Julius Caesar lead Rome to a period of chaos. The senators who assassinated Caesar hid or ran, and the civilians either went into a state of panic or anger. Caesar's adopted son, Augustus, was responsible for killing, and capturing his adopted father's assassins. He was later appointed to lead, becoming the first emporor. Julius Caesar's death was nesisary for Rome to take a different, better path under the lead of Augustus.
