Description:
A confrontation that occurred between the US and the Soviet Union after the US discovery of Soviet ballistic missiles in Cuba. US put a naval blockade around Cuba to prevent more missiles from getting in. Crisis ended when Soviets agreed to pull missiles out of Cuba and the US agreed to pull missiles out of Turkey.
