Description:

Sulla gathers his own legions and marches against Rome, taking control of the city. Sulpicius and Marius were both made enemies of the state and fled Rome. Sulla restored his command in the East and departed to fight Mithridates. Sulpicius was assassinated as he fled Rome, while Marius escaped to his veterans in Carthage.
