Description:
2300 caves, 110,000 Buddha stone statues, 60 stupas, 2800 inscriptions on carved stele. They were created in the 6th through 12th century. The ,aom guy in the middle is the buddha the caves represent changes in style because the carvings were all created at different times. The carvings depict Tang dynasty realism. The Central Binyang cave depicted the Buddha and his five followers. The Fenxiang cave depicted the emperor and his wife, was a sign of political power. The Kanjing temple depict Arhats, monks who have progressed very far in enlightenment. Carved from limestone, in Luoyang, China, made by the Tang Dynasty.
