feb 9, 1923 - Treaty of Versailles
Description:
This treaty is important to world history because it officially ended World War I. Germany had to give up much of its power and the Allied Powers didn't have very many punishments. Woodrow Wilson advocated for more Europe reconciliation policies and less punishments, but the France and Britain representatives really wanted to punish Germany. These unequal terms for Germany eventually led to World War II.
