Description:

The Cultural Revolution was launched as Mao wanted to attempt social change. He went against old social customs and bring in new ones. He chose young people who became the Red Guards. They ruined anything that was from the old social habits and killed anyone not completely following Mao’s teachings. People were killed and kids thought it was normal because this was the way they were raised. Mao is still respected and considered their leader today.
