The 21st century began on a mediocre basis. The remakes of Hollywood hits such as 'Friday the 13th' began hitting the screens, which in my opinion was good but a bit saturated due to the continuous remakes but further innovations into torture porn created something new for the audience's eyes. Then comes today, which I believe is the least interesting point in time for horror due to all the spin-offs of one story into separate films with different titles, creating a lack of link between the movies. Also, it feels like these movies are just being repeated continuously without any thought.
