In the light of cynicism due to the Vietnam era, several social issues from sexism to consumerism were beginning to be tackled. Exploitation movies further caught full wind with 'I spit on your grave', showing the graphic reality of immoral people going to great lengths to make money and get what they want. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was also released for the first time within this decade which changed the game totally, however conforms stereotypically with a lot of the horror movies today, however this was a slasher horror rather than an exploitation although in my opinion, it would be more of an exploitation film. During this time, America's 'Halloween' was released, the birth of the too known Michael Myers, who still inspires game modes within games such as Call Of Duty. This shows the extent to which this movie had inspired the world.
