The first high-speed train network was made in France during the 70's, it is called the 'Train a Grande Vitesse' network. It was first made to link parts of France together, but it has now expanded to link other countries to it, such as England and Germany. This had a huge impact as it is one of the fastest trains in the world, which makes it easier for people to travel.
