apr 18, 1775 - Battle of Lexington and Concord of 1775

Description:

Kicked off the American Revolutionary War which was from (1775-1783). Tensions were building for many years between residents of the 13 American colonies and British authorities. On April 18, 1775, hundreds of British troop marched from Boston to nearby Concord in order to seize an arms shack. Pual Revere and William Dawes sounded the alarm, Militia men began to intercept the redcoats, Confrontation started at Lexington town.
